The AI Process Designer

The AI Process Designer builds a complete process template from a plain-language description. Instead of placing tasks on a diagram yourself, you describe what the process should do and AI designs and builds it, decision points and all. It is the fastest way to get from an idea to a working first draft you can refine.

Build a process with AI

1. Open Administration > Processes > Template Diagrams and click the AI Process Designer icon in the toolbar

2. Fill in Give Your Process A Name

3. In Natural Language Process Description, describe the process you want. The more detail you provide about the steps, the people involved, and the decisions along the way, the better the result. Some simple examples:

   • “Build a process that evaluates and approves a new business vendor.”

   • “Build a process that determines a new customer’s credit limit.”

   • “Build a process that troubleshoots a network printer that will not print.”

4. Click Build Process

Building takes up to 3 to 5 minutes, and you don’t have to wait on the page: ProcessPlan emails you when your process is ready. The new template appears at the top of your template list, where you can open its diagram and edit it like any other template.

Tip

Treat the result as a strong first draft. Review the tasks, responses, and assignments, then tailor them with the diagram editor. If you already have your steps written down as a list, paste them into a conversation with your AI Strategist and ask it to build the process from them: it shows you the steps and outcomes it proposes, and builds only once you agree.
