=FISCALMONTH
The =FISCALMONTH function evaluates a date and returns the fiscal month number based on a specified fiscal year start month.
Syntax

FiscalYearStartMonthNumber
- The month number (1–12) that the fiscal year begins (e.g., 9 for September).

DateToEvaluate
- The date used to determine the fiscal month.
How It Works
Section titled “How It Works”-
Calculates the position of the given date within the fiscal year.

Returns a numeric value representing the fiscal month (1–12).

Fiscal month 1 corresponds to the fiscal year start month.
Usage Notes

Dates must be provided in a valid date format (YYYY-MM-DD recommended).

The fiscal year start month must be a number between 1 and 12.

Formula functions are case sensitive and must be written in ALL CAPS.
