Process Calendars

Process Calendars show a process’s instances on a calendar instead of in a table, which makes scheduling-heavy work (installations, onboarding dates, renewals) much easier to scan.

Open Reports > Process Calendars. The Choose a Calendar screen lists your process templates with their Name, Instance Count, Group, and Description; click one to open its calendar.

Each tile on the calendar is one process instance, labeled with its instance description. Clicking a tile opens the Process Fields panel for that instance. When a day holds more instances than fit, a + N more button opens the full list for that day.

Tiles are color coded by the tag on the instance’s current task, so if your process tags steps (for example by status or team), the calendar reflects it at a glance.

The Choose Dates To Display dropdown controls where instances land on the calendar:

  • Process Started Date (the default)

  • Process Completed Date

  • Any date field defined on the process, listed by field name

  • All Date Fields, which plots instances on every date field they have

This is what makes calendars flexible: a “Installation Date” field on your process becomes an installation schedule with one dropdown change.

  • Switch between Month and Week views with the buttons at the top; the arrow buttons step through months or weeks, and Today jumps back to the current date

  • Start New Process launches a new instance of this process without leaving the calendar

  • The Process Table icon switches to the same process’s table view
