Verbose Logging Mode

Verbose Logging Mode is a troubleshooting feature you can turn on or off with the Enable Verbose Debug Mode checkbox in the AI Employee program. When it is turned on, your AI Employee records extra detail about everything it does:

  • A detailed log entry for every step it performs, including internal progress messages.
  • A copy of the log saved to a file on the machine.
  • Screenshots saved for every action, showing exactly what the AI Employee saw on the screen and where it searched for buttons, text, and images.

This extra detail is very helpful when you (or our support team) need to figure out why a step didn’t behave the way you expected.

Why does turning it off make my AI Employee faster?

All of that extra recording takes time. With verbose mode turned on, the AI Employee pauses at every action to write additional log entries and to capture and save screenshots to disk before moving on to the next step. Over a job with many actions, those small pauses add up.

With verbose mode turned off, the AI Employee:

  • Prints far less to the log, so it spends less time writing.
  • Does not save screenshots for every action, skipping the extra image capture and file saving entirely.

The result is that each action completes sooner and the overall job runs noticeably faster, especially for longer jobs with many steps.

  1. Leave Verbose Logging Mode off for everyday use so your AI Employee runs at full speed.
  2. If something goes wrong, turn it on and run the job again to capture the detailed logs and screenshots.
  3. Once the issue is resolved, turn it back off to restore full speed.

Turning the setting on or off takes effect immediately. No restart is required.
