Your First Task: The Introduction
The first time you sign in to ProcessPlan, one task is already waiting for you in My Tasks. Its name starts with Welcome to ProcessPlan and ends with your first name. It is the first step of a short introduction that runs as a real process, so you learn how ProcessPlan works by using it. It takes about five minutes.
Step through it
Section titled “Step through it”- Open My Tasks and click the welcome task.
- Read the instructions, then click one of the green response buttons at the bottom. Clicking a response completes the task and puts the next step in your list.
- Keep going until you reach You’re ready, then click Finish.
Each step covers one thing you will use every day: your task list, responses, working a task, the process diagram, messages and notes, process fields, and the mobile app. Early on, the introduction asks what you will mostly do in ProcessPlan: complete tasks assigned to you, start and build processes, or set up the account for your company. The next few steps are tailored to your answer.
A welcome message is also waiting for you under My Messages. One of the steps sends you there to read it.
Stop, skip, or read it again
Section titled “Stop, skip, or read it again”- You can stop at any time. The current step waits in My Tasks until you come back.
- To skip the introduction, click Skip the introduction on the welcome task. The introduction is canceled and leaves your task list.
- When you finish, the steps move to your completed tasks (Reports > My Tasks > Completed), where you can read them again.
