SOP / Procedure Documents

Procedure Document Templates (SOP Templates) turn your process designs into printable Standard Operating Procedure documents. You author the document layout once, with placeholders, and then apply it to any process template to produce a filled-in procedure document for that process.

  1. Open Administration > Documents > SOP Templates and click New SOP Template

  2. Enter the SOP Template Title

  3. Write the document in the rich text editor. Use the field token button to insert placeholders that will be filled in with each process’s own details when the template is applied

  4. Click the Save icon

The list shows every template’s SOP Template Name, Modified Date, and Created Date; click one to edit it, or select rows to delete templates you no longer need.

  1. Open the process template by clicking Administration > Processes > Template Diagrams > the card of the process

  2. Click the 3 dot button in the top right > Print SOP Document

  3. Use Apply an SOP Template to choose which SOP template to apply. The document below fills in with this process’s details

  4. Click the Print icon (your browser’s print dialog can also save it as a PDF)

The generated document is for printing and isn’t stored, so you can regenerate it anytime; it always reflects the process as it currently exists. Any edits you make in the preview affect only what you print.
