Reusable Text Blocks
Reusable Text Blocks are rich-text snippets you write once and insert by name wherever field tokens are supported: task instructions, emails, and documents. A text block can itself contain field tokens, so the snippet fills in with each process’s own details when it is used.
Standard disclaimers, boilerplate instructions, and report layouts are the classic uses. The =TASKREPORT function, for example, uses a text block as the layout for each task in its generated report.
Text blocks are managed under Administration > Documents > Text Blocks, on the Reusable Text Blocks page. The list shows each block’s Text Block Name, Modified Date, and Created Date.
