TIP: Getting Started In ProcessPlan

In this video, you will learn how to get started in ProcessPlan using the work list, task cards, and the view progress panel.

Work List

When you log in, you will be taken to the work list, which is a list of all tasks currently assigned to you.ProcessPlan prioritizes and organizes your tasks by their importance. Working from the top down on this list usually ensures that you are working on your most important tasks first.

Task cards

Task cards are the tasks assigned to you. The icon on the card represents the process that the task is part of. On the left hand side of the card you will see its color strip. The red strip indicates that the task is past due. A yellow strip indicates that the task is due this week, while a green strip indicates the task is simply pending. If the process is red, you need to step on the gas pedal and get it done! Make sure you don’t carry this logic into your vehicle. When you click on a task, the sidebar will show the potential responses, process fields, and other relevant information. Once a response has been selected, ProcessPlan will automatically assign the next task to the correct person.

View Progress Panel

If you want to see a bird’s eye view of the process as it runs, click the 3 dot navigation button in the top right of the task panel and click “view progress”. This view shows exactly where you are in the process with color coding.A gray task has not been started, red tasks are past due, and yellow tasks are pending. Each past due or pending task is awaiting a green response. Finally, blue tasks are completed tasks. This view updates in real time. If someone completes their task, then you will see it happen. Sit back and watch those colors change!
